A Return to the Return to the Computer Lab
What Do You Remember From This Year?
To celebrate you, we put together a full night of trivia in a play-at-home format. Test your recall on the events of the last 11.75 months with your loved ones, pets, and strangers you yell at in the street. You can download the whole game at our website, including a beautiful slideshow, a sound round, and a printable answer sheet you can bring to your Boxing Day gathering.
A Requiem for Going on the Computer
Welcome to a new miniseries within the Friday Know-It-All that we’re calling “Return to the Computer Lab.” This will be a semi-regular series in which our editorial staff explore the beloved computer games of our childhoods. (Are you surprised to learn many of us spent a lot of time on the computer?) Editor Ruby is up first to tell you all about what it was like to play computer games in the 1990s.
*Fuses Your Cuisine*
The idea of “fusion cuisine” is a controversial one, as with any conversation about food and authenticity. What I’m interested in talking about today isn’t your southwestern eggrolls of the world, but the cross-cultural foods that are too old for us to think of them as fusion, or very cool food combinations that aren’t quite mainstream enough in the U.S. for a trivia question.
